When Kathy was younger she and one of her friends and I went to WV to visit Joe & Karen & Becca. They lived on the very tip top of a mountain in an old farmhouse (how they ever located it, I will never know. When I reached the top of the hill, I could see nothing but sky over the hood of the car--more than a little scary. Joe put together some beds in an upstairs room--must have been on the north side of the house. Kathy and her friend got to sleep in a double bed and keep each other warm. I had a nylon nightgown over which I wore my sweater, knee highs, a knit hat and gloves to bed and still thought I would freeze. I desperately wished I had brought my fuzzy green one piece suit with the booties to match. The next morning we were going out to breakfast and when I retrieved my leather coat from the room across the hall from the room with the one and only pot bellied stove in the house, the coat was so stiff I could not put it on. We never went back to visit while they were living there. Good thing we had good company while we were there.

IsobelIsobelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05424761896231940909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16593640.post-1140595589107834172006-02-22T03:06:00.000-05:002006-02-22T03:06:00.000-05:00What a cute picture...What a cute picture...Lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07993337841578012623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16593640.post-1140545496104649092006-02-21T13:11:00.000-05:002006-02-21T13:11:00.000-05:00Goodness, how do you function without sleep? Such a cutie!

Sounds like your bedroom rennovations are going slower than mine. We bought our house 9 years ago and the master bedroom has orange carpet. I think it's really dark peach but it looks orange. DH promised we would change it . . 9 years later and we still have orange carpet. But, we do have drywall and it is painted . . light orange!

Judy L.Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10720927550545452529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16593640.post-1140534821373326532006-02-21T10:13:00.000-05:002006-02-21T10:13:00.000-05:00Love the lips - funny how I just noted the same th...Love the lips - funny how I just noted the same thing on our wee boy when he was here yesterday sleeping in almost the same posture!

And it sounds like your creative juices get flowing when you are awake at yeungodly hours. Last night we moved some furniture outside, it took me over 5 minutes to pull all the foam from the door and then the tape that covered the foam off. The worst part is that tonight we are going to have to fill all those cracks around the door back in. My daughter said in her 13 years of living there she didn't even know that that door opened.Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15568108034424319581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16593640.post-1140441586786442912006-02-20T08:19:00.000-05:002006-02-20T08:19:00.000-05:00You could have called me to talk!
