DSL came to town from the phone co. (Frontier) about 2 yrs. ago but the plans they were offering were just short of highway robbery........has to sign up for a "plan" that included phones services you didn't want or need at an extra charge of $10-15 in addition to the additional charge for DSL. Finally they came out with a plan that was just the DSL, modem charge and taxes............and I've had DSL now for a month and 3 days & I love it. Is there any wirless services in your area? Depending on where you live that might be an option. Love the antique top you finished.QuiltinLibraryLadyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16392850776832804028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16593640.post-73507377571970987592008-02-09T10:54:00.000-05:002008-02-09T10:54:00.000-05:00Nines, I am sorry to hear about your internet trou...Nines, I am sorry to hear about your internet troubles. It seems to me that I remember seeing it there, but then you are talking about a really fading memory. (and cable was not an option thanks to harry and sally happy homeowners who decided to bury the cable coming into our house in the walls somewhere...where? have no clue...) Hang in there -- eventually you will be able to get it!atethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13563533672161608587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16593640.post-10770716321789128202008-02-07T14:05:00.000-05:002008-02-07T14:05:00.000-05:00I feel your "innernet" pain. Hopefully DSL will reach you soon.
