Well, it's pretty bad when I know just where to look to take a good picture of ice on a log! Been here before, I guess. We were without power for a very short while- last time it last 5 days. So we are happy and warm and quilting! Hope everyone is safe! I am planning to take advantage of the working pump and shower up before the next front hits!
very nice photos!
ReplyDeleteStay warm.
Greetings from eastern Canada
I am so glad that you are all fine. I hope that your power stays on. I know that it can be very destructive, but it is so beautiful! We don't really get ice storms here, just snow, rain or hail. I must make the roads impossible to drive on. Stay warm and safe!
ReplyDeleteoops, I meant "IT" must make the roads terrible, not me, I don't have that kind of power. lol
ReplyDeleteYou poor sweetie! Power outages are only fun for a couple of hours. My kiddos often remind me of the one that we had about 9 years ago...when they roasted mini-marshmallows over a candle. They were little then and very easy to entertain...and feed! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous pictures you produced though! Very artsy!!! They belong on notecards. Or prints on the wall.
Love you tons!
Oh, those are lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pics Nines. Ice is beautiful, but can also be deadly...guess that is the price for all that beauty.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures! Thank you for sharing them. You are smart to stay off the roads when it is so icey!!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos -- but not fun to deal with. Hope you are all safe and warm!
ReplyDeleteI agree! the pictures are really awesome - these are the kind of pictures people like to have in black and white - it really stands out that way. Excellent! Hope things have calmed down for you in terms of cold and ice. It's so strange for me to think about, since I've just come in from working outside in 90 degree weather! Yikes! too hot for spring! Anyway - take care, and God bless you, Dear Friend....
