My attempt at blue and yellow...
So, what do you think? I plan on making this one like Bonnie's, with sashing and light-colored cornerstones. I think it'll be alright. I am seriously enjoying my "new" featherweight. I found a note on it, yesterday, that read, "Everytime I see this thing it keeps getting smaller and smaller!!! Are you sure this is what you want? I'm thinking you need a big industrial machine to support your addiction, er... hobby." Oh, he is just too funny. It seems to be plenty big for my needs.

Beautiful, beautiful blossoms. I love the blue/yellow combo and am currently cutting for a b/y scrappy spools. I'll be looking forward to pictures of this when it's finished.

Oh crap! I just love this one too! I am going to go crazy if I don't start my PB soon, but I don't think I'll like it as much as yours or Laurie's at Gotta Quilt. Or almost any of them. They are all so great and the more I cut my flannel for mine, the more boring it seems. Drat! Good job, though, it is beauuuuutiful!

It's beautiful! The blue and yellow are so clean and fresh together.

And I'm so tickled you're enjoying your machine. I can almost smell that warm smell of the sewing machine oil and the belt. And I can even remember the sound. (And yes, you've inspired me to look for one.) ;)

Hugs.

your fabric choices and the color combination are wonderful. Your hubby obviously doesn't understand what a marvelous little FW you have.

The blue and yellow just sings! You can lay it out with sashing, and without and see which version you like better. I only used sashing because I needed to STRETCH the quilt to make it big enough without making more blocks...*LOL*

My thoughts and prayers are with the miner's family and friends through this hard time. It really is a tragedy.
