There are moments in time...
when you catch a glimpse of what your children will grow up to become. When Joseph was about 10 months old, I can still see him so clearly standing on fat, wobbly legs, looking out the storm door. The sun was shining on his face and his full lips were pursed in concentration and it hit me- this child of mine will someday be a man. The moment I saw 2 year old Daniel running in the sunshine, with mischief in his wide eyes, as his daddy sprayed him with the garden hose- it hit me, I can see the man in him. Well, I'm crying now as I look at these pictures and I realize that they are who I saw... only better. I am still seeing the men they will someday be, but they seem so very, very close now. It is quite a jolt. This is before their first big night out- they just went together. Buying the suits was easy- the shoes, another matter. They wear size 12 and 13. Now that, I didn't see!

Oh my, I'm glad you warned me. Your memories sound much like some of mine. How special you are! It doesn't take long, does it sweetheart?

Love you ALL so, Mama

What wonderfully handsome young men. I could have warned you about the feet thing--they do have Miller blood, don't they. Uncle Bly's Jeff once told Kathy that her feet weren't even big enough to walk on.

Those feet are like puppy feet. They are so adorable and then they get BIG! Cutie pies, both!

They are such handsome young men.

My "baby" is going to be 30 next month. And it -is- a blessing to watch as they grow into fine men, isn't it?

Happy Easter.

So I"m not the only one that gets those 'glimpses' every once in awhile of the adults they will be (women in my case)? Those guys of yours is just right on the brink now, aren't they? Time...I need to bottle it.
Thanks for sharing the pics!

Ohmygoodness, Nines! I had this really great make-up job...and now it's all streaming down my cheeks and smeared across to my temples. I've been having so many of these moments myself lately...glad I'm not alone. Thanks for the good cry...it is not with sadness, but gratefulness that I'm all teared up and blubbering like a baby.

What handsome young men you have there! Hugs to you!
