Girls, we've created a monster!
One that grins from ear to ear. John got a package in the mail, yesterday. Darcie www.quiltingbydarcie.blogspot.com sent him a couple huge stacks of plaid blocks. He is so tickled. He had me cutting batting right away to sandwich between his pieces. He must have sewn for 4 or 5 hours, yesterday! I'd say he's hooked. When I asked him if he could grin any bigger, he said, "I just can't help it! It must be...instinct!" And then he mentioned how much straighter Darcie's blocks were than mine. Little munchkin.

It's in the genes! That is one happy young man! The best kind of monster to create.

Excellent! One of our most prolific quilters of donated quilts from our guild is a man. And has your son seen the blog State of the Craft? It's written by a guy who makes fabulous quilts!
