Something Practical...
Made this smallish quilt to cover a board that is covering a window opening in my son and newest daughter's house. Hoping it's big enough to hide the board- see? Practical. She has decorated some of their house in greens and purples so I hope this blends well. Laurie seemed very happy with it. Now for my dear son, Joe, to get it hung for her. I've barely sewed a stitch this past week- creative juices are getting used up in other pursuits. Knitting socks and cooking for the family. But I figure I'll settle back into routine life soon enough. The holidays really were wonderful. I better run- sweet William is listening to "Find Me Somebody to Love" from Ella Enchanted for the 20th time...

I have always wanted to attempt a Mariner's Compass! Are they hard? Why don't you run on down here and teach me how to do it?

I put up a new post on my blog just for you!

Love you!
