Jak's sampler...
Here is a picture, a poorly lit picture, of Jak's sampler which he made up all by himself. I showed him how to make the daisies and the french knots, and he took off with the rest. I especially like the dragonfly. Jak's 9 years old.

This is wonderful work. I hope you're going to get it framed. I'm impressed with all of your kids willing to try new things.

You tell 'em, Nines!! "Who made you boss of me?"....ROFL!! Sounds like what my girls say to each other from time to time. ;o)

Sweet precious Abe...whatta doll. And Jak definitely has got that embroidery down! He needs to help me out some I think!

Wow, what great embroidery. I bet he'll be proud when you frame it.

Both Dear Son and Dear Husband tried to learn to knit, but neither one enjoyed it. It still tickled me that they tried something that they knew I loved.

Hats off to Jak.

A big pat on the back to Jak from North Dakota, please! Great looking stitches...and those lazy daisies cannot be from a novice!!! ;-) Love the quote, too!

Your kids are too fun! I love hearing about your tales of day-to-day life, Nina.

Abe has a *hat* just like one that my Grandma made my dolly! ;-) His brothers ought to be proud of him...it takes a true man to wear pink! ;-)
