Stash enhancement...
Here are some of the fabrics that I picked up at the Doormouse. I told you that none of them go together. And you thought I wasn't serious about that. Maybe that would be a way to go... choose fabric that matches... nay, that'd be too easy. This is just stuff I like. With no purpose but to make me happy.

The house was strangely quiet, today. The three middle boys- ages 9, 11, 13- were away at a birthday party. The 16 year old was working, so it was just me and 4 kids. Quiet.

Woo-hoo! I finished the quilt challenge that Sarah gave me- the quilt top, anyway. She had lots of rules, and I'm not sure if I complied with all of them... ok, I'm pretty sure I broke a few. But mostly I was very obedient. For me. More on that after I get to deliver it at our retreat- the last week of June.

Funny haw we all view things differently - unless the monitor on my pc is showing the colours different from how they really are - those fabrics really shout 'walking through the woods in autumn (fall) kicking up the fallen leaves and I'm sure I could live with them together :o) - nice fabrics though whatever you do with them

OOOh, Nines! I LOVE the stripey-looking one. It's very hand dyed looking. Yum-o! Thanks for sharing those.

Can't wait to see what you and Sarah are up to with your top secret projects. You are going to blog lots together for us, aren't you?! It would be terrific to see lots of pictures of the two of you in action!

I had the same woodsy thought as Anne about the fabrics...but then I've been living with GF long enough to have a major autumn woods theme ingrained in my brain. Can't imagine you doing anything that conventional though. As for you and Sarah in action...the half could not be told. ;) Gotta love it!
