Favorite things...

I love key lime pie and this is one of the easiest recipes I have ever used. It is just delish!

Key Lime Pie

one 14oz can of sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup of Nellie and Joe's Key West Lime juice(found in better supermarkets)

combine milk, egg yolks, and lime juice and mix well until smooth.
pour filling into a 9" graham cracker pie shell
bake at 350* for 15 minutes
Cool, refrigerate until chilled and top with whipped cream.

So simple and sooooo good.

This is one of Stacy's favorites too! we almost had it for Thanksgiving - but I found a new Pecan Caramel pie recipe that sounded too good to ignore. Southern Living, of course! Turned out very yummy - but very rich! Are you going to publish your velvet chicken soup recipe?

I am going to stick the background square for that applique block in the mail to you tomorrow so you have lots of time to work on it. I will need it back by January 13th. You are too sweet for doing this for me! Love you and miss you!

This is the same recipe I use for my lemon pie except I use lemon juice, of course. Also, I only bake for 8 minutes. Love this pie!!

Side bar regarding the return... if you want the same ones in a different size (I'm concerned they will be out of stock), call them and see if they will hold them or pre-ship them... or just knock yourself out and get something completely different. And the pie still looks good. Wish I was there having some with you :-)

If you can't get this particular lime juice, can I just use the juice from limes? I have never made a key lime pie before, looks delicious!
