Spools...

Got all inspired by Julieq... thought you'd like to see them. I don't know why I am liking them so much... they are kinda simple. The blocks finished up at 3.5" and are just adorable. I couldn't wait to put them together and get it quilted and on the wall.

How about a drawing for them? Anyone who leaves a comment gets their name in the hat. We'll have honest Abe draw the name out when we get back from Alabama on Tuesday. Just so you know, these were made entirely from my scrap drawer- even the backing- which is pieced. It measures 13x16" and I changed my mind on the quilting design half way through- so it's far from perfect, but it can be yours if you put your name in the hat! So leave a comment. I'm making another scrappy one for me. I just can't seem to stop making them!

I'm wanting in on that too ... though it's a rotten shame not to leave sweet Kelli's name alone in the pot! Have a lovely, safe trip south. Mama

Oh, that would be super-special to have a Prairie Quilt on my sewing room wall! And it's just the right size 'cause my sewing room is smalll. By the way, your vase of flowers quilt is so pretty. It is inspiring me to do a little applique. Haven't done any for a long time.
Blessings!

Who wouldn't want a Nina handmade goody?

Went to the doc today and he said I have a secondary bacterial infection from having the flu a couple of weeks ago. Was running a 101 fever yesterday. Got some antibiotics and a narcotic cough medicine. Hopefully will feel better soon. Wishing I had a child old enough so they could drive me home!

Have a safe trip south!

Love you!

What a great way to get a bunch of comments--EVERYONE wants one of your designs! Even though I'm blessed to already have a couple, I crave more! Anytime you feel you have enough quilts you can send the rest to me!! Love you and can't wait to see you.

what a charming little mini quilt. I love the spools block ;) reminds me of my "Momma Newt" as she made several quilts of that pattern - and as a kid we loved playing with the tea pitcher packed full of her empty spools on her back porch. ;)

Love from Texas! ~bonnie

Would love to have another Nines in our home. It would be something else for Sandlyn's treasure box. Put us in your drawing!
